Re: Crashing on startup Post by Winchy » Wed Jan 15, 2020 4:52 pm 6th fresh install of everything even fallout related, and same thing only this time im back to not crashing but getting the 'not responding' black screen with a small window, and i tried the NVTF this time however no help from that. Dec 29, 2017 When choose to add FOMOD instantly when I choose it, the FOMM says something bad seems to have happened and crashes. I mean, after that crash happens I can just go back into the package manager and activate the mod but it is very frustrating when you have multiple mods for installation and have to open FOMM then package manager contantly.

Mods installed through MO2 won't show in the game launcher and won't show in the games Data folder. That isn't how MO2 works. FOMM and older programs like NMM dump everything in the game data folder. MO2 doesn't work like that. It keeps the data folder clean and loads all active mods using a VFS on startup. MO2 doesn't 'break' the mod. For mod management, I primarily use NMM but I'm trying to use FOMM to get TTW to work. I'm using the latest version of FOMM v0.14.11.12. I've also tried the recommended version of FOMM in the install guide, but they both crash before I can even install the Fomod. I reinstalled it a third time, and still crashing. My video card drivers are up to date, and system is up to date, I've tried reverting back to the non-updated version of FNV, as well as the updated version, but no matter what, it always crashes before the start screen even pulls up.
